Sung Hok senior living residence, registered at 18 Repulse Bay Road, Repulse Bay, Hong Kong.

"You" / "User"

Any person who visits our website, submits an enquiry or arranges to use our services.

The lifestyle, social, cultural and residential programmes offered by Sung Hok as described on our website.

"Website"

"Agreement"

These Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

"Content"

All text, images, graphics, data and other material appearing on or accessible through our Website.

2 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our Website or submitting any enquiry form, you indicate that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our Website.

Sung Hok provides a non-medical lifestyle community for older adults, centred on social connection, cultural engagement and comfortable daily living. Our current service plans include:

Service availability is subject to capacity and may vary by season. We reserve the right to adjust programme schedules with reasonable notice. Geographic availability is currently limited to Repulse Bay, Hong Kong.

4 User Responsibilities

When using our Website or services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in all forms and communications
• Use the Website and its content only for lawful, personal purposes
• Treat staff, residents and other visitors with consideration and respect
• Not attempt to interfere with the Website's functionality or security
• Not reproduce, redistribute or commercially use any content without our written permission

Prohibited activities: Submitting false information, impersonating another person, scraping or copying website content for commercial purposes, and any conduct that could reasonably be expected to harm other residents or staff.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence does not permit copying, downloading for redistribution, modification or commercial use of any content without our prior written agreement.

6 Payment Terms

• Service fees are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and are payable monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of arrangement. We typically accept bank transfer and accepted card payments.
• A notice period of 30 days applies to cancellation of any ongoing service plan. Fees paid for the current period are non-refundable except where Sung Hok is unable to deliver the agreed service.
• Pricing shown on the Website is indicative. The fees applicable to your arrangement will be confirmed in writing before commencement.
• We reserve the right to review fees periodically. Any increase will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Sung Hok's total liability to you in connection with the Website or our services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses, including loss of data, loss of opportunity or reputational harm, arising from use of the Website or participation in our programmes.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud — rights which cannot lawfully be excluded.

10 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sung Hok, its staff and representatives from any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of the Website, or any false or misleading information you have provided to us.

11 Termination

Either party may end a service arrangement by giving 30 days' written notice. Sung Hok may suspend or end access to the Website or services immediately where there is a serious breach of these Terms or where required by law.

On termination, your right to use the Website and access our services ceases. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute resolution continue to apply after termination.

12 Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this Agreement.

We encourage any concerns to be raised with us in the first instance. Please write to [email protected] and we will do our best to address your concern promptly and in good faith. If informal resolution is not possible, mediation through a Hong Kong-based mediation service may be agreed before formal proceedings are commenced.

13 General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the complete agreement between you and Sung Hok regarding use of the Website.
• Severability: If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• No waiver: Failing to exercise a right under these Terms on one occasion does not prevent us from exercising it on another.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior written consent.
